Construction & DurabilityCompletely unique to the pop up system, the Space Frame’s design and engineering won’t be found anywhere else. Comprised of a two-part extruded aluminium section and internally-reinforced corners, the Space Frame is lightweight with superior structural integrity. Customisable in a range of RAL colour coatings, changes can be made to suit your brand, while hand-finishing prior to coating contributes to a premium look and feel. The Space Frames click and slide together with no need for traditional fastenings, providing fast and secure foundations for our EXPRO System Products.With the pressurised membrane accounting for a large portion of the end construction, we are able to build with limited components, most of which have been specially developed to slot together in assembly. Minimising the need for nuts and bolts gives us a system that is 100% reusable with greatly-reduced servicing demands.AssemblyThe Cross Braces slide into pucks mounted on the Space Frames, securely connecting them together. Designed to transfer forces when the AirCells are pressurised, the Cross Braces can be used to support various accessories, including lighting, branding and AV equipment.The Cross Braces and support pucks of the main frame create a natural grid for mounting side walls, shelves and other storage apparatus to suit a variety of shop-fitting requirements. The walls can be finished to client specifications with options for colours, branding as well as acoustic enhancements. The walls can be pre-assembled with lighting and electrical fittings as required.All EXPRO System products are completely modular and reusable. The walls are typi fitted during the main installation, whereas shelves and storage can be fitted, repositioned or removed post-installation.FeaturesPressurised cladding is a core element of the pop-up system. AirCells wrap around the Space Frames, locking into integral Keder extrusions. Once pressurised, the cladding creates a Monocoque structure. The AirCells are pattern-cut to hug the shape of each frame. They are typi made polyester-reinforced PVC or glass-reinforced Silicon. Other substrates can be used in the system subject to performance requirements.Designed on a 1m wide grid to maximise the efficiency of materials, the Fascia is optimised for use with our EXPRO modular door systems. The Fascia is engineered to carry any 8-10mm substrate, although standard materials include Polycarbonate, Glass, Wood and HPL (or similar high impact resin boards). The fascia can be branded partially or fully in high quality printed graphics, with options for permanent or temporary applications. In addition, all or part of the Fascia can be left open to evoke a greater sense of space. It can even be recessed to create a covered or open terrace. The Fascia uprights, as with the door frames, are finished in premium, textured black powder coat as standard.The flooring is designed to fit within the 2.5m grid of the Space Frame and is simple and easy to install. Individual panels are laid the middle outwards, clicking together with no need for screws. With board sizes measuring 2440mm by 600mm, floor sections are constructed 18mm resin ply board with 50mm steel box-section support beams. The flooring is engineered to 5KPA, creating the perfect platform for automotive vehicle displays.Our unique sliding doors are designed to fit all sizes of the AirClad EXPRO system and can be configured along the 1m fascia grid to meet specific needs. They are conveniently flat-packed for storage and transportation and designed to be installed fast with minimal effort. Hinging door systems are also available and designed to the grid for ease of use. All doors come with barrel locks and 1m deep ramp access. The doors, as with the Fascia uprights are finished in a premium, textured black powder coat.The AirCells are kept to pressure via a near-silent air management system, requiring only 1.4 amps. A centrifugal fan is housed for noise reduction and discreetly mounted on an aluminium stand. Flexible air-supply hose links the AMS to the AirCells. Individual cells are daisy-chained together for minimal cabling. One AMS can supply multiple structures for long-term deployments.Environmentally SustainableComplementing it's agility is a design that places environmental sustainability as a top priority.
